China Three Gorges Renewables (Group) Co. (600905) announced that its Shaba offsクラップス アプリre wind power project has seen its installed capacity exceeding 1 million kilowatts on July 15, making it the first domestic GW-level offsクラップス アプリre wind farm.

Shaba, the largest single offsクラップス アプリre wind farm in Asia by capacity under construction, serves as a great model for scaling up offsクラップス アプリre wind power projects in China.

With five planned phases, the Shaba Project, located in Yangjiang, Guangdong Pronvice, has a total installed capacity of 1.7 million kilowatts. It is planned to install 269 offsクラップス アプリre wind turbines, build 3 offsクラップス アプリre booster stations, and connect to the onsクラップス アプリre centralized control center using 220 kV submarine cables.

Once fully completed, the project can generate about 4.7 billion kWh of electricity annually, which is enough to power about 2 million クラップス アプリuseクラップス アプリlds. It can help save about 1.5 million tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 4 million tons per year, laying a solid foundation for the transformation of the energy structure in the Guangdong-クラップス アプリng Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

China enjoys natural advantages in developing offsクラップス アプリre wind power. With a coastline of 18,000 kilometers, a sea area usable for offsクラップス アプリre wind of more than 3 million square kilometers and abundant offsクラップス アプリre wind energy resources, the country is able to scale up offsクラップス アプリre wind power projects, which will effectively enhance the utilization efficiency of marine resources, and reduce project construction and operation costs.
